Aron Jones makes work with emphasis on process and different ideas. He makes work in mainly collage but also uses other material (when he can be bothered paying for them). Chance and improvisation is an important part of the process of his working (so he says).
In even more room for error there will be paintings on wood, assemblage pieces and small sculpture pieces alongside large scale mixed media works that will be made as live collage in the space. Some of the pieces have been worked on for months; some will be created in the space, creating a collision between the throwaway and the prosaic in the exhibition. In the duration of the exhibition Aron jones will be changing, defiling and moving things to create a new instillation piece as well as sets of assemblages that work within themselves.
